Luke McCrosson is a New York City based multi-instrumentalist and educator. Born in California and raised in Colorado, he found a passion for music at an early age while listening to his father play piano. Luke’s love of music led him to study piano and electric and upright bass at Bard College, where he earned his BA in music. He performs frequently as an in-demand bassist in New York City. 

Luke’s teaching career has taken him around the world. He has taught in Colorado, Berlin, Germany, and currently teaches in the Big Apple. As an instructor, Luke likes to show students fundamental musical skills that can be used to make a myriad of beautiful songs and music. He likes to remind students of their own power in learning, and how using individual critical thinking and exploration can help students open doors on their own.
